Osun NUJ Correspondents’Chapel Election: Oyetola’s Aide, Aremo Congratulates Shina Abubakar , Other Executives

The Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Honourable Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo, has congratulated Shina Abubakar on his emergence as the Chairman of the Osun NUJ Correspondents’Chapel after a Keenly contested election.

Abubakar , a Correspondent of Vanguard Newspaper in Osun State, defeated the Daily Trust Correspondent, Hammeed Oyegbade.

Aremo in a congratulatory message signed and made available to newsmen, in Osogbo described the outcome of the election as a reflection of the choice of members of the Correspondent Chapel in the state.

He, however, congratulated other members of the executives on their emergence during the contest.

He noted that Abubakar is a thorough-bred journalist who has distinguished himself in the professional field of Journalism, noting that he was confident that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear in the administration of the NUJ Correspondents’Chapel in the state.

The governor aide urged Abubakar on mobilizing members of the chapel to meet their function of providing information, enlightenment, entertainment and surveillance to the larger society.

“I hopeful that Mr Shina Abubakar , judging from his anticidence and experience will move the Osun NUJ Correspondents’Chapel to an enviable height.
