Looting At Osun Dep Gov’s Official residence, Product Of Hallucination- Aide
The Senior Special Assistant on media to the Osun State Deputy Governor, Olaniyi Ajibola, has described as dangerous lies and product of hallucination, a report credited to an online news medium, alleging looting at the official residence of the Osun State Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi.
Ajibola in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Thursday described the allegation as primitive and untrue.
“Our attention has been drawn to a story in one of the blogs in the state, alleging looting at the official residence of the Osun State Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi.
“We want to unequivocally state that this allegation is not only primitive and completely untrue, it is indeed a reflection of weak reasoning from a feeble mind.
“While we were not surprised by this type of cheap propaganda, being the trademark of a particular political bloc, it is pathetic that a section of the media could be so ductile to the level of becoming a mere instrument of smear campaign.
“To put the record straight, the Deputy Governor is a man of honour and dignity, with impeccable pedigree and history of integrity, who will never descend so low to that level of infraction.
“We, therefore, advise the general public to disregard this allegation as a mere work of fiction and a fallout of imaginary disorder.”
