2023: Olalekan Lateef Declares For House Of Assembly
–Assures People Of Ede South Constituency Of Adequate Representation

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Olalekan Lateef has declared his intention to contest for Ede South seat in the Osun State House of Assembly.
He made the declaration yesterday during a meeting with the leadership of the party in Ede, Ede South Local Government Area of of the state.
Lateef popularly known as Asiri Ede told the party executives that he decided to run for the office because he is qualified and got what what it takes to represent the Constituency in the State House of Assembly
He told the party leaders who gathered at the secretariat that he has contributed to his community and to the Constituency, hence he needed a higher platform to do more and better a lot of his people.
The National Coordinator of Yoruba Progressive Forum (YPF) said he had worked for the growth of the party and determined to continue to contribute his own quota to the development of his constituency.
He, however, urged the people of Ede South to continue to support the party and Governor Gboyega Oyetola saying the good work should not stop in the state.
“Today, I’m here to say that I am qualified to contest for the House of Assembly. Through me, a lot will come to the local government area. I will be a servant and agent of change. I will be loyal. I’m here to solicit your support.
“I’m ready to work for the good of the Constituency. I’m your son. I want to serve the people of this Constituency,” Lateef told the party leaders.
He said his people whom he had served in different capacities came, calling him to contest the election, adding that through the House of Assembly he will contribute more to the development of the Constituency.
“I want to use this avenue to appeal to our people to continue to support our amiable Governor in his bid to take the state to the greater heights.
“Gov Gboyega Oyetola has been performing tremendously well. He has used his wealth of experience as an astute administrator to bring unprecedented development to the state, hence, the need for each and everyone of us to ensure his re-election.
“Our people should please come out enmass and ensure they cast your votes for him comes July 16.
