July 16: Oyetola’s Campaign Train Moves To Odo-Otin LG Today

The Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Council will today Monday 4th of July, 2022 continue the campaign for the reelection of Gov Adegboyega Oyetola with a visit to Odo Otin Local Government area of Osun State.

The visit to Odo Otin Local Government will be another sweet home coming for the Governor who is from “IBO” Federal Constituency consisting of Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo Otin Local Governments as he leads other party leaders and eminent personalities on the campaign tour.

In a press statement from the Media and Communication Directorate of the Campaign Council, Mr Governor and his team will be received at Okuku where they will proceed to the palace of Olokuku of Okuku to pay traditional homage to the seventeen (17) Obas and Baales in the local government.

The Governor will later address artisans, market women, leaders of ethic groups, party members and members of the general public in the local government on what his administration has done in the past three and half years and what they stand to enjoy in his second term in office at the Front of Town Hall, Okuku.

In conclusion, the Media Directorate appeals to the security operatives to be on extra alert in their responsibility by bringing to book opposition members whose stock in trade is heating up the system with the sole aim of creating fear in the mind of the general public.

“As much as we continue to reiterate our commitment to an issue based, rancour free and peaceful campaign across the State, the opposition is advised to rein in their recalcitrant members and warn them to tame their tongues as we will not watch while some people will think they are at liberty to disturb the peace of the Community” the statement concluded.
