Osun Primaries: Group Congratulates APC National Assembly Candidates

A Socio-political group in the state of Osun, G-83 Worldwide, has congratulated the House of Representatives candidate of the APC for Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun, Orolu Federal Constituency, Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwakitan on her victory as the flag bearer at the just concluded party primary elections in the state.

The group also congratulated Osun Central Senatorial Candidate, highly distinguished Senator Ajibola Basiru PhD, on his well deserved victory.

This congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Alao Waheed and signed by its President Prince Mohammed Maroof (Prof) and made available to Newsmen on Thursday in Osogbo the state capital.

The group described the victories of the standard bearers as “round pegs in round holes”, expressed confidence that the National Assembly Candidates would record a landslide victory in the next year’s general elections.

The group explained that with the combination of Senator Ajibola Basiru PhD and Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwakitan at the National Assembly representing Osun Central and Osogbo Federal Constituency, no doubt that Osogbo Constituency would experience tremendous transformation and the narratives of representation would be completely changed for better.

“We appreciated the people’s Governor of Osun, Alh Gboyega Oyetola, Prince Gboyega Famodun, Baba Adebisi Akande, Engr Sola Akinwumi, Baba Wale Lasisi, Mama Titi-laoye Ponle, Barr. Adelakun, leaders and members of the party for making the process a successful one”.

The group also commended party members across Osogbo federal constituency as they all did wonderfully well for coming out en masse and voting overwhelmingly for Abosede Ogo-Oluwa to emerge as the party candidate for Osogbo Federal Constituency.

“Abosede Ogo-Oluwa is the popular candidate and generally loved by members of the party and people of the Constituency in and out of the APC because she has social value as a philanthropist and lover of the less privileged people, she is the hope of the masses and she will not disappoint anyone”, said the group.

G-83 also enjoined other contestants in the direct primary elections to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and be committed to the party and demonstrate party loyalty by joining hands together to support Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwakitan and see her victory as victory for the party which is victory for all.

The group also urged stakeholders, members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to work assiduously for the party to record a landslide victory in the July 16 governorship election for the betterment of Osun, the party and the generations yet to come.
