NACETEM To Host Strategic Management Retreat In Akure

The National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, will host a strategic Management Retreat aptly tagged “Re-engineering NACETEM for Greater Exploits” between Wednesday, 2nd March, 2022 and Saturday, 5th March, 2022 in Akure, Ondo State.

The Management Retreat is designed to chart a new path or direction for the Agency to better deliver on its mandates and impact more positively on the society with its core activities such as policy research, capacity building, policy advisory services, etc in science, technology and innovation management .

NACETEM Management is conscious of the dynamics of administration in the 21st century which constantly calls for adaptation and re-adaptation of new methods and ways of operations, if an organisation must remain relevant, particularly within the science, technology and innovation space. In view of this, the Agency believes its modus operandi must be at par with what is obtainable globally as well as be in tune with the realities of today and tomorrow. Hence, the need to gather its top management staff and erudite resource persons to assess where the Agency is currently and come up with plans to remain a strong and virile institution nationally and internationally.

At the Management Retreat will be the erudite scholar, Professor Williams Owolabi Siyanbola, the former Director-General of NACETEM who will be providing the necessary guidance on how to move the Agency forward.
