Eid-el-fitri: Dr Ahmed Vanderpuije Felicitates Muslim, Urges Them To Embrace Peace
Alhaji Dr. Ahmed Vanderpuije has felicitated with Muslims around the world as they celebrate Eid-al-Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan fasting period.
In his goodwill message, the Academician and Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Vanderpuije who is the Balogun and Baba Adini of Yoruba Race in Ghana admonished Muslims to continually embrace love and peace as well as tolerate one another as the holy month is brought to an end.
According to the Cleric, Holy month of Ramadan is a month of sober reflection and moments of truth that allows every Muslim around the globe to reflect on their sinful ways of life and seek God’s face for forgiveness, as directed by Prophet Muhammed.
He said;
“Indeed, fasting is truly the hallmark of Ramadan, which is observed all over the world. It is recognized and observed as a month of devotion and reconnection with the supreme being which is Allah. So, as we exit from the holy month today, let’s continue to preach love and peace ceaselessly as we’re directed by Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W)”.
As he is known for, the Cleric ceased the opportunity of the end of the holy month to extend his generosity in cash donation and words of encouragement to the homeless and vulnerable children and Youths in Nasarawa State Community.
He also enjoined African Youths to improve on self empowerment and value character education with or without support from the government, as doing this will change the past narrative and reshape economic history of Africa.
Alhaji Ahmed in recent times had supported a Peace and Education Initiative in Ghana. He is known by many to be a Peace and Character Education advocate.
