Nigerian Baptist Youths Congratulate Jonas, Enunuaye, Agogo as AABYF Gets New Leaders

Youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention have congratulated the new leadership of the All African Baptist Youth Fellowship, AABYF, ably led by the newly sworn in President, Bro. Jonas Kakenge Mbwenga.
The youths also congratulated the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, Pastor Onajite Enunuaye who was also sworn in as the General Secretary and Bro. Agogo David, the new Publicity Secretary of AABYF and one of the leaders in the Lagos East Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the NBCYC, Bro. Job Emmanuel, he admonished the new leaders to hit the ground running from their predecessors left it saying that Africa must be conquered for Christ.
He said:
“We congratulate the new President of the All African Baptist Youth Fellowship, Bro. Jonas Kagenge Mbwenga on his assumption of office. We also congratulate our own President, Pastor Onajite Enunuaye who is the new General Secretary and the new Publicity Secretary, Bro. David Agogo and all other newly elected members of the Executive Board.
“We are confident that both Pastor Onajite and Bro. Agogo who are NBCYC representatives on the Executive Board of the AABYF would make us proud given their track records back home.
“We congratulate the immediate past President, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeoye Gbenga Adigun who is a product of the NBCYC and current AABYF Advisor and members of his Executive Board for taken the Fellowship this far. They undoubtedly gave their best and we deeply appreciate it. We pray that they will continue to be useful vessels.
“As we rejoices with our new leaders, we admonish them to allow the spirit of the Lord to guide them in order to lead African youths to Christ through AABYF. We pray that the Lord will give them the wisdom, knowledge and understanding they need to lead us aright”
Other members of the new Executive Board are Pastor Paul Loko, Deputy General Secretary (Togo), Maame Esi Victoria Aidoo, Treasurer (Ghana), Balep Esomo Oscar, Financial Secretary (Cameroon), Koffi Parfait Yaou, Member at Large Francophone (Cote d’Ivoire) and John Baimba Sesay (Sierra Leone).
The newly elected Vice Presidents are Dideon S. Washington, VP Western Subregion (Liberia), Rev Dieudonne Sekazouba, VP Eastern Subregion (Rwanda), Pauline Mugisho, VP Central Subregion and Rev Mpho Chauke, VP Southern Subregion (South Africa).
The new Executive Board was inaugurated at the just concluded Bi-Annual Congress of the All Africa Baptist Youth Fellowship held virtually between August 25 and 27, 2021 with the theme Moving Forward Together.
