Just In: Gunmen Invade Osun Community, Abduct Resident
There was a palpable tension in Ora-Igbomina, Ifedayo Local Government area of Osun State as gunmen invaded the community and abducted daughter of one Alhaji Bayo Fulani.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the unknown gunmen stormed the residence of Bayo Fulani and whisked away his daughter to an unknown destination.
The incident it was gathered happened on Sunday evening.
Speaking with our Correspondent, the father of the victim explained that the gunmen came in their numbers and attempted to kill him.
He said: “They shot at me severally as they were unable to overpower me they descended on my daughter and she was taken away.
“They came with one Ak-47 and two pumps action.” He said .
Confirming the report, Osun police command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola said police have been deployed to the scene of the incident.
She added “Our men are already in the bush combing the area.”
Ora-Igbomina shares boundaries with Ekiti and Kwara states.
