Education, The Greatest Tool To Empower Children: Hon Olatunji
The Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji has advocated improved collaboration among all the stakeholders in the Education sector to enhance its quality and produce formidable outputs.
In a message to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day, Hon Olatunji described education as the greatest tool to empower children to succeed.
According to him, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. If we give children the necessary tools to succeed, they will succeed beyond our wildest dreams and education remains one of the greatest tools we can use to empower them to succeed.”
Consequently, the legislator suggested that governments,parents,religious organizations,the Civil Society Groups and education service providers must periodically interface to review developments in the sector.
He expressed displeasure over the rate of out school children in some parts of the country which he noted constituted threat to the rest of the country.
While calling on teachers to regularly emphasize the need for unity and integration among all Nigerians, he charged individuals and corporate organizations to support the process of motivating teachers for productivity.
“Happy children’s day to my best friends and the most valuable resources on earth.” Olatunji said
