In his words “I’m a community servant just like our workaholic Oluwo. Every responsible son and daughter of Iwo is known for pure service to humanity as exemplified by Oluwo. As the Otunba, my duty is not limited to settling of disputes and protection of Iwo against external incursion but also execution of physical projects of monumental benefits to Iwo and her people. One of those is the rehabilitation of roads”
” The roads network in Irewole and Odo Oba communities of Iwo are in dilapidated condition. We have waited endlessly without state or local government intervention. Hence, I decided to commence the grading of Irewole Phase I, II and III today. Immediately after completing the roads in the mentioned phases, I’m moving to Odo Oba”
“At the heat of 2018 governorship election, being a chieftain of APC and Otunba of Iwoland, I talked to my people to support and vote for Governor Gboyega Oyetola. They made many demand paramount of which was the community roads rehabilitation. I assured them and they voted for the governor”
“Thereafter, I made several attempts after the swearing in to represent the road for government’s attention but all fell on deaf hear. The local government is not functioning while the state government is not listening. And as the Otunba Oluwo and a chieftain of the party, I need to source my pocket for money and mend the roads because I know I will still need my people in future. So, when they need me, I must be there for them”
