Shafaudeen Faithfuls, Others Laud Gov Makinde On Proposed Job Creation

Thousands of Islamic faithfuls and others who stormed Shafaudeen Islam World wide International Head
Quarters in Ibadan on Saturday commended Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state over his proposed job creation for the youths in the state.
They however prayed that the promise should not be a political gimmick like that of previous governments in the country.
Governor Makinde through his Chief of staff Dr Bisi Ilaka assured the people of the state that the issue of unemployment will soon become a thing of the past .
Makinde maintained that the present administration is ready to tackle the high rate of unemployment among youths in the state by creating job opportunities.
Governor Makinde who was represented at the Grand Finale of Ishrat 2021 by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Bisi Ilaka maintained that the state government is projecting an enabling environment for investors to thrive in their businesses, noted that the development will further help the government to address the issue of unemployment in the State.
He said apart from direct job opportunities recently offered through the ministry of education which various ministries of government in the State had also keyed into through the approval of the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the State government through its partnership program with both foreign and local investors will further produce job opportunities for our teeming unemployed youths in the State.
The week long Ishrat 2021 event that was organized by the Shafaudeen In Islam Worldwide led by it’s Founder, Spiritual Head and Grand Imam Professor Sabitu Olagoke was held at the Shafaudeen International Headquarters Wakajaye Ibadan, brought to an end yesterday Saturday 23rd January 2021, with series of programmes such as lectures, Quran recitation, Walimot-il- Quran, prayer for the well being of the nation, book launch, award presentation to some notable Nigerians among others
He said, the present administration had always have the interest of the people at heart, and I’m so proud of the efforts that is leading Oyo State to a greater heights.
Makinde stressed that expanding the economy is one of the greatest thing the present administration want to do by partnering with public private entities which will result in building our youths in a positive way by offering them the opportunities to serve in the labour market through either skills or otherwise.
Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP,the Founder of the Mission was full of appreciation to the state government for its friendly disposition adding that Shafaudeen would not relent in its prayer for Governor Makinde led administration.
Speaking on the theme of the event which centered on “Nigeria Democracy On Fundamental Trials, The Challenges and the Way Forward”, Professor Olagoke charged government at all levels to invest on human capital for meaningful engagements, most especially on the youth to arrest misdirected energy and loss of focus .
Professor Olagoke who is the President of Ajagun Esin Consultative Forum reiterated that, there is the need to promote inclusive society , stamp out corruption and enhance good governance, noting that the national policy of education need to be practically pursued and imbibed into our culture as education is the most instrument of change in the society.
Professor Olagoke also urged the
government to address the failures on physiological needs and provision of basic amenities to generate employment , as the most effective solution of eradicating poverty.
In attendance are, the Special Adviser on Islamic Affairs to Governor Makinde, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Abdulazeez , the Chief Imam of Oyo land, Adebayo Ajokideru , Alhaji Abdullateef Adigun konkobilo, Alhaji Yekini Abass, Architect Hassan Giwa among others.
