According to the management in a statement yesterday, no staff of the OSBC has tested positive to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The management said that the station was safe and would continue to keep the corporation safe.

The statement read: “The Management of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) is aware of rumours circulating online and on Social Media Platforms on the Covid-19 status of the Corporations Staff.

“We implore peddlers of such stories to tread with caution as the Covid-19 war will not be won by spreading fear and unconfirmed news.

“In the light of the anxiety the story may have brought upon Staff, Clients & Guests to the Corporation, we hereby state clearly that OSBC is Safe!

“As has been practiced since the first case of covid-19 was reported in the state, no stone will be left unturned to keep the Corporation safe.

“OSBC is neither aware that a late staff died of Coronavirus nor that a Director is infected. All Directors not available right now are on their statutory annual leave.

“We assure all of our commitment to Government approved protocols on Covid-19 and we will enforce same on anyone willing to do business with us.

“Once more, we reiterate, OSBC is Safe & ready for business. Thank you.
