We’ll Kill Or Marry Her You Don’t Pay Ransom – Bandits Who Abducted NYSC Member In Kebbi Threaten Family
The bandits who kidnapped Lorliam Jennifer Awashima while she was on her way to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Kebbi State, have allegedly threatened to marry her off or kill her if her family refuses to pay the ransom demanded.
This was revealed by an undisclosed journalist from Benue State in a Facebook post
A screenshot of this was shared by a family member of the victim.
It shows that Jennifer’s abductors had demanded a ransom of N3 million.
According to the message, the bandits have already made contact with the family and threatened to kill or marry off the victim if their demand for a ransom of N3 million is not met.
The message shared by one Juliet said, “The bandits called, they’re demanding for (sic) 3million naira last. They said if we don’t pay the money, they will either kill her or marry her off.”
Jennifer, a graduate of the Department Of English, Benue State University, was kidnapped in Zamfara State on Tuesday evening, October 19.
She was on her way to Kebbi State where she is expected to undergo her mandatory one-year service to the country.
