Sunday Alakinde’s Death Devastating –Osun NUJ

Nigeria Union of journalists, Osun state council has condoled with freelance and independent broadcasters association of Nigeria over the death of one of its members, Mr Sunday Alakinde.

A statement by the chairman of the union, comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and secretary, Comrade Bukola Elufadejin described the death of Mr Alakinde as a rude shock and devastating.
The statement said it was unfortunate that the shinning star lost his life in a ghastly accident at a productive age when his service in the broadcast industry was highly needed.
It noted that the late organising secretary of FIBAN was a popular personality on air whose name had become an household name in Osun state through the presentation of Newspapers review on Unique Fm.
The statement prayed God to give him and give his family, Unique Fm and FIBAN the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
