A huge fire has been reported at Katsina Central Market in Katsina, the capital of Katsina state.

According to an alert by the News Agency of Nigeria, the destroyed properties worth billions of naira.

Fire fighters are still battling to contain the inferno which started around 8:30a.m on Monday.
