Rumbles In APC: We Are Not Deterred, Tinubu’s Presidency Is The Goal That Must Be Achieved, Says AGF

The foremost Tinubu’s group in Nigeria, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF has reiterated its commitment to achieve the goal of Tinubu’s Presidency come 2023 despite the crisis rocking the ruling party, APC left, right and centre.

Addressing the news men at a Lagos event on Saturday, the National Publicity Secretary of the Foundation; Comrade Adeboye Adebayo said the group is not deterred by the rumbles in the All Progressives Congress, APC, that the group is more determined, focused and ready to deliver Tinubu’s Presidency.

His words “My brother we are not novice or kids in this game of politics, it is not unusual to have such rumbles in a ruling political party like APC, don’t forget, we have people that are in government and they want to stay glue to the seat of government for their agenda, we have people that believe we must build on President Mohammodu Buhari’s achievements when he leaves office, outside APC, there is an opposition party, PDP who destroyed the country to this level in their wisdom or lack of it, so there is diverse interests everywhere in the polity, we have our own interest too, that is Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency after the successful tenure of President Buhari, so we are used to it, we understand it, hence we are not bothered” Adebayo said.

According to the AGF spokesman, the group has done fundamental research and discovered that no other man in Nigeria of today has the credentials of its Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead this country.

According to Adebayo “For us in the Foundation, we are more determined, focused, prepared and ready as we are mobilising supports through out the World to achieve Tinubu’s Presidency which is the best for Nigeria both in the physical and the spiritual realms. The Foundation is working through its various committees to achieve our aims, we are doing surveys, we are doing research, we are developing papers, we are consulting, we are marketing and we are convincing the pessimists and doomsayers to join us on this noble cause, our secretariat in Abuja is working day and night to make this happen, we are not just noise makers but great mobilisers, actualisers, stakeholders and achievers in this cause, we are not tired nor weary because we have that bright light at the end of this dark tunnel, can’t you see it” He queried.

When asked what makes Tinubu the best man for job, he answered “A lot my brother, a lot, it takes a diligent democrat to believe and understands the workings and values of democracy, Tinubu does not only believes in democracy, but he fought for it with his mental and financial capacities, so he is a full blooded democrat. My Pastor used to say it takes a wise man to discover wisdom in another man, and I say it takes a talented man to discover talents in another man, it takes high level of leadership to groom leaders without fear of contradiction, intimidations or fear of clash of interests, you have it on your record, how many leaders in political and business arena of our country today that are either groomed, supported and brought to limelight by Tinubu, check the list across party lines, ethnic lines, religious lines and Internationally, the list is inexhaustible and I have heard people say, it is God, and without him those people would have been great, yes I agreed but we must appreciate him for allowing himself to be used by God for them to that extent, how many of them has allowed themselves to be used by God that far? Beyond his foresightedness that is making Lagos working till today as the third largest economy in the Africa, Tinubu’s birthday annual colloquium has been a solution providing platform to socioeconomic problems of Nigeria, he is well travelled, highly connected, blessed in purse and mind, mentally sound and physically fit, well respected around the World, what other criteria do you need, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best man to take over from Buhari” Adebayo noted.

When asked about Yemi Osinbajo, Kayode Fayemi Orji Uzor Kalu, Peter Obi and others, he said, “Do you have other good names to mention, yes, they all good and fantastic men of substance but Bola Ahmed Tinubu is still the best” Adebayo wraps it up.

It will be recalled the time has been tough for the ruling party, APC since the conclusion of its wards and state congresses where there are many factional congresses across the country and this has made it very difficult for the ruling party to put its house in order ahead of a must do upcoming National Convention.
