Osun AGF Coordinator, Tijani Greets Muslims At Eid-el-Kabir

A sociopolitical group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), Osun State Chapter, on Tuesday, felicitated Muslims in the state and across the world on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
AGF Coordinator, who is also the Secretary Oriade South Local Council Development Area (LCDA) , Comrade Sikiru Tijani, made the felicitation in a statement issued in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
“We beseech Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, to record us in the register of those whom He will accept their respective sacrifices and all forms of worship done in these sacred days.
“Indeed, Allah needs neither the blood of our sacrifices nor the flesh of our respective rams,’’ Tijani said in the statement.
He urged the Muslim Faithful to use the festive period to pray for the peace and harmony in the country.
Tijani , however enjoined residents of the state to continue to live in peace which was what the state is known for.
He implored the residents to continue to support the Governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola in his efforts to take the state to the greater heights and ensure he ruled the beyond 2022.
“Osun State is as one of the most peaceful states in the country and there is the need for the residents to continue to live in peace and harmony.
“I also want to urge our people to continue to support our amiable Governor in his bid to take the state to the greater heights and ensure he rules the state beyond year 2022.
“We should equally not forget the constant remembrance of Allah, the Most High by glorifying Him and thanking him, “ he said.
