Osun 2022: YPF Endorses Oyetola For Second Term
—Organises Prayer For The Governor
Members of a sociocultural group, Yoruba Progressive Forum (YPF), have declared their unalloyed support for the Administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in the State of Osun.
They also endorsed the Governor for second term, saying they were ready to do everything possible to ensure his re-election in the forthcoming governorship election.
Members of YPF made the declaration during a prayer organized by the group in support of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration, which held in Ede town.
Led by the National Coordinator, Alhaji Olalekan Lateef, popularly called Asiri Ede, YPF members described the governor as an angel which God has sent for the liberation and development of the state.
Speaking , YPF Coordinator said the decision to organise the prayer in support of the governor was inform by his administration’s commitment to the development of the state .
Lateef further applauded the Governor’s approach to security, eduction, health and worker welfare adding that the governor had done a lot of things many people thought it could not possible in less than three years.
He said that the Governor has done tremendously well adding that no any sector has left untouched since he became the governor of the state.
They expressed happiness for Oyetola’s administration’s commitment to stimulating the state’s economy and bring about development which has placed the state in the front burner among the comity of states in the country.
He also lauded the prompt and timely security intervention and approach of the Administration which he said had culminated in the sustained status of Osun as the most peaceful State in the country.
“Our amiable Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola is committed to welfare of workers, even when he was Chief of Staff.
“He know that welfare of workers must be prioritised and that’s exactly what he’s are doing.
“We pray God almighty to continue to continue to bless the Governor and to continue enrich his wisdom so as to be to able to take the state to the greater heights.
Al-imam Mas’ud Husain Akajewole, the Grand Imam Of Edeland who led other Islamic scholars in the prayer commended the group for deeming it necessary to organise the prayer for the Governor describing the Governor as silent achiever .
Imam Akajewole commended the governor for being a lover of development praying God Almighty to continue to protect him.
