One Dead, 18 Injured In Osogbo/Gbongan Expresseway Accident (Photos)

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun Sector Command says one person died and 18 other persons sustained injuries in a lone accident on the Osogbo-Ibadan Expresseway on Monday.
The Public Relations Officer, Osun State Sector, Mrs Agnes Ogunyemi told CityMirrorNews that the Incident happened about 1:45 pm.
Mrs Ogunyemi explained that the accident occurred when a White Toyota Hiace with Registration number Veh Reg: EKY 213 lost control due to break failure and ran off the road .
“The body of the victim had been taken by the family, while the survivors are receiving treatment at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo,” she said.

She added: “The incident occurred at about 1:45 pm in front of Abere Secretariat 1st gate.
“The incident involved a White Toyota Hiace with Registration number Veh Reg: EKY 213.
“The Injured victims were taken to UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo while the dead was taken away by the family members.
“Obstruction cleared by FRSC Personnel and the vehicle was towed to DUGBE Police Station. Other Agencies Invl’d: NPF DUGBE, O Ambulance.”
