Eid-el-Kabir: Oyetola’s SSAs greet Muslims

The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has congratulated Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe on the celebration of this year Eid-el-Kabir.

Engr. Kolawole Anwo,Coordinator, Forum of SSAs in a Sallah message signed and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo.

The SSAs appreciated the people of the state for living harmoniously without any religious rancour saying, Osun has consistently maintained a commendable profile of peace.

“The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun expresses warm greetings to friends and families of the Islamic faith, both in Osun and across the world, on the occasion of this year’s 1442 AH Eid-el-Kabir festival.

“Without doubt, this occasion is a good time to reflect and thank Almighty Allah for how mercifully He has dealt with the State of Osun in recent years, causing the State to triumph especially against pandemic, against security threats and issues that bother on the welfare of workers and citizens.

“Osun has consistently maintained a commendable profile of peace, thanks to sacrifices by different religious groups and people in the State.

“We urge our brethren of the faith, and indeed every citizen, to continue to live lives of sacrifice and respect for fellow humans, for the peace and prosperity of our dear State. We must note that peace is not only an active ingredient in a democracy, but an enabler for the developmental agenda of the State.

“Osun has proven itself as a model of good governance in recent years, thanks to the foresight and ingenuity of its leadership and the support of citizens.

“We urge citizens to continue to invest in the things that make for the peace and prosperity of our dear State, the State of Osun.”
