Eid-el-Kabir: Ede North Council Boss, Elliot Adeyemi Greets Muslims
Honourable Elliot Adeyemi, Chairman of Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State, has joined other well wishers to rejoice with the Muslims in the council and the state at large on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Adeyemi in a Sallah message issued and made available to newmen urged them to continue to dedicate themselves to the service of Almighty Allah.
He charged the Muslim on the need to have strong faith in Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) saying without faith nobody can receive anything from God.
He also enjoined the Muslim faithful in Nigeria to peaceful co-existent and live up to the tenets of their faith through acts of charity and obedience to the injunctions of the Holy Quoran.
Adeyemi also enjoined the residents of the council to use the festive period to pray for Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his bid to take the state to the promised land.
“Sallah teaches us to have strong faith in God as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (A. S.) and without faith, no one can receive anything from God.
As you are building a strong faith in God, may He grant you all your secret and open requests to Him.
“I want to urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to use this festive period to pray for Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his efforts to transform the state and ensure his victory in the gubernatorial election.
He however, implored them to be moderate in the celebration of the Sallah just as he urged them to eschew anything capable of causing crisis in their neighbourhoods.
