Afenifere Supports Pan Yoruba Summit, Commends Organizers For Timely Initiatives
The Acting National Leader of Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba, Pa Senator Biyi Durojaiye has commended Barrister Oladosu Oladipo and members of his team in Yoruba Patriots Movement for the wonderful initiative of organising a pan yoruba summit slated for tomorrow bJanuary 21 2021 with the important theme “Yoruba Nation : Yestetday , Today and Tomorrow “.
Speaking through the National Secretary of the organisation, Hon Bayo Aina, observed that the theme is indeed worthy of continuous contemplation as we approach 2023, the outcomes of which will impact Nigeria as a whole but the Yoruba nation more particularly, as they constitute major stakeholders both in Nigeria and in the APC .
For the sake of emphasis, APC is a party in whose successes the Yoruba people both at home and in the diaspora are proud to share in.
Senator Durojaiye commended Barrister Oladosu Oladipo for painstakingly consulting across a wide spectrum of opinions and interests including Traditional Rulers, Politicians of different shades of opinion and convictions, captains of industries , youth groups and across gender in developing a theme for the summit and asigning roles.
Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Yoruba is convinced that the more we seize opportunities for exchanging ideas in summits of this nature, the greater the possibility of building consensus on several issues and in the process , promote peace unity and stability for the benefit of our people and generations yet unborn.
“We look forward to fruitful deliberations as the process of working towards outcomes that are deliberately inclusive and that will not leave any behind.
