2022: Professional Women In Osun Declare Support For Gov Oyetola’s Second Term Bid

The professional women group in Osun has pledged their unalloyed support for Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration promising to mobilize votes for him in the coming 2022 gubernatorial election.

The professional women who came together from all walk of life, on Thursday thrown their weight behind the governor at the inauguration of Professional Women Wing Of Oyetola Consultative Forum held at Abere, Osun State.

Speaking, leader of the professional women wing, Queen Oyefunke Ojo Adepoju, said they are coming out as women who have excelled in their profession to lend their support for the second term of Governor Oyetola.

“We are determined to mobilize people from our various profession and at the grassroot level, houses and villages across the state.

“We understand that majority of votes come from women and as professional we want to use our connection, wisdom to woo other women to join us in order to secure massive votes for Mr Oyetola come 2022” she said.

Coordinator of OCF, Rt Hon. Olanike Omoworare in her speech said “It is with profound joy that I welcome you all to this occasion. I am excited and particularly happy as another history is being made today in the political space of Osun State as well as
within the fold of the Oyetola Consultative Forum, OCF.

Appraising the Oyetola led adminstration, Omoworare highlighted some of the success the current Osun government has made, she said couple of days ago, the whopping sum of #963 million was released to 143 retirees under the contributory pension scheme, including those at the State and Local Government levels despite the harsh economic conditions of our state.

“Earlier this week his government made it known that plans are completed for the implementation of the Olaiya Flyover by Strategic Alternative Funding.

“These are noticeable in the areas of infrastructural development, healthcare, human capacity development, prompt payment of workers salary amongst others” she said.

She further noted “It is our duty as Political leaders of the Political Party in Government, to highlight the achievements of the incumbent Governor and support his laudable programs.

“It is for this reason that we are calling the attention of the good people of Osun, to be aware of the massive infrastructural and human development in Osun State and re-elect Mr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola in 2022 in order to continue the good job.”

Also, the Commissioner of Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode lauded the group for their support to Governor Oyetola , assured them of continual good governance.

“They have seen that Oyetola is a good product that is why the professional women are coming out to support and promote the present government of Osun” she said.
