Ataoja Installs Engr Olatunji As New Bobakeye Of Osogboland

The Ataoja of Osogbo land, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Larooye II, on Saturday, installed Engineer Olorunfemi Edward Olatunji as the Chief Bobakeye of Osogboland.

Speaking at the installation ceremony, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun said the newly installed Bobakeye of Osogbo land is a well known philanthropist and a seasoned business man.

Oba Olanipekun recounted a very good instance of Engineer Olorunfemi Olatunji’s gesture, when they met in an international gathering in Abuja.

He said the new Bobakeye took financial care of him and his royal entourage.

“As God would have, chiefs of Ataoja-In-Council harmoniously agreed as they formed a pleasing and consistent whole to bring this event into actualization. This act, speaks of divine love and mercy in Engineer Olufemi’s favour.

“Much have been heard and heard about persons here, but you stand out and tall. I pray God to continue to be with you, prosper you and your family. May you not recount this time and event as a bad thing to happen to you,” the Ataoja said

During his vote of thanks, the newly installed Bobakeye of Osogbo land appreciated His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Larooye II, Council of Oba and the entire people of Osogbo land for finding him worthy of the title.

He described the new traditional title as a clarion call to do much more, adding that it’s unnecessary amnesia to forget about one’s beginning.

Engineer Olatunji thereafter thanked friends, family, associates and business partners from overseas, Kogi, Abuja, Lagos and other states who find time in their different schedules to make it to the event.

He also prayed that they all find joy in their own lives as he wished them a blissful journeys to their respective destinations.

The installation event was witnessed by high chiefs of Osogbo, such as chiefs ajagunna, Iyalode and her entourage; Otun Iyalode, Séríkí Iyalode, Eketa Iyalode, Otun Iyalode, Ekerin Iyalode, Iyaloja of Osogbo and her entourage; Èkejì Iyaloja and Eketa Iyaloja, Otun Balogun who represented Chief Balogun and Osi Balogun.
