Osun APC Congress: Salinsile Emerges Chairman As TOP Holds Parallel State Congress

A new leadership has been elected for the State of Osun chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

In a parallel State Congress of the APC, immediate past Secretary of the party, Hon Rasaq Salinsile, was elected as the new APC Chairman while former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa, was elected State Secretary.

The congress which was held by the party, The Osun Progressives faction, today, was almost disrupted by hoodlums, who stormed the venue and started shooting sporadically.

But the hoodlums were repelled by security operatives who engaged the thugs in gun battle.

However, two members of the APC were shot by the hoodlums.
