I HAVE LOST A BROTHER AND POLITICAL ASSOCIATE—Gboye Adegbenro
The Deputy Governorship candidate of ZLP in the last Gubernatorial election in the state and former Commissioner for Works, Engr Gboye Adegbenro FNSE has described the death of Hon. Adedayo Omolafe, popularly known as ‘Expensive’ as a rude shock.
Adegbenro in his statement made available to journalists said the state has lost a grassroots mobilizer and a friendly political associate.
He said, ” The death of Hon. Adedayo Omolafe – Expensive came to me as a rude shock and unbelievable. I am still in state of unbelief that I, and the political class has lost you. You impacted some much on the young, old, male and female. Even as a young consultant in those days, during Agagu’s administration, you related with me as a friend. Among politicians, you were at home with all ”
“My brother, it is unfortunate that, Akure and indeed Ondo State have been deprived of a first class personality ”
“My prayer is that God will grant you eternal rest and console your family, friends, political associates and Akure as a whole “
