Osun: APC Group Congratulates LG Caretaker Committee, Charges Them To Unite Party Members

A socio-political group in Osun state, Opomulero Osun, has charged newly sworn in caretaker management committee across the state to focus on delivering dividends of democracy to the masses at grassroots.

While congratulating them for being deem worthy of serving their localities, the group stressed the need for the caretaker chairmen and members to prioritize unity of the party in their domain.

Opomulero Osun has congratulated the newly sworn in Caretaker Chairmen and members in Osun State imploring them to hit the ground running in the delivery of dividend of democracy and enthronement of good governance at the grassroot.

In a press release signed by the group’s Public Relations Officer, Oluomo Sunday Akere, the Council Chairmen were implored to see themselves as servants of the people that are sent to spread the good gospel of workers friendly and impactful representation and not lording themselves over the people as bosses.

It reads, “Your first major assignment should be how to settle the acrimony/illfeelings arising from the selection process in some areas and bring everybody together in unity to guarantee victory for the party in future elections.

In every contest, there must be a winner and a loser. While the winner must be magnanimous in victory, the loser must know there’s a tomorrow when their own time to shine will come.

“As you resume work, you must stretch out the olive branch and make peace with whoever is aggrieved in your area without leaving anyone out. The success of the party and the victory of the Governor Mr Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola should be our focus and all hands must be on deck to make this possible come July 2022.

“In conclusion, Opomulero Osun congratulates the Governor Alh Gboyega Oyetola for his clear show of believe in the youths as emerging leaders through the engagement of over 65% youth and women representation, the Speaker of the House of Assembly Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye and the State Party Chairman Prince Adegboyega Famodun for concluding the nomination, screening and swearing in process without delay.

“All the new office holders should also get involved in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) and the rescheduled Congress of the party which must be done without leaving any stone unturned as we prepare for the second term reelection of the Governor”.
