FEDPOFFA Gets NBTE’s Accreditation For 12 New Courses

The National Board for Technical Education has recently accredited 12 additional programmes for Federal Polytechnic Offa (FEDPOFFA), Kwara state.
The Rector of the institution, Dr. Lateef Olatunji made the disclosure while speaking with journalists at the press briefing of the 11th Convocation Ceremony of the institution on Monday in Offa, Kwara state.
He also urged the Federal government to support the polytechnic institution following its great feat it is achieving among other tertiary institutions.
Dr Olatunji disclosed that the polytechnic welcomed over 100 personnel from NBTE across the country for the accreditation
The courses given accreditation are Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Geological Technology, Hospitality Management, Meteorological Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering.
Also, Higher National Diploma in Survey & Geo-informatics Department and Urban & Regional Planning department.
Dr. Olatunji attributed the success of the polytechnic to the spirit of hard work, commitment and sacrifice of the members of staff of the institution.
He expressed the institution’s elation at the success in view of the very stringent NBTE conditions and the meticulous and rigorous assessment.
