Osun 2022: APC Youth Leaders Solicit Support For Oyetola Second Term Bid
Osun State Youth Leader-elect, Mr Olagoke Akinwemimo and other youth leaders across the state on Thursday called on the people of the state not to relent in working for the return of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the state in the next governorship election.
The youth leaders made this call at their first general meeting where official familiarization and developmental discussions took place at the State Party Secretariat, Osogbo.
In his opening remark at the meeting, the State Youth Leader-elect, Mr Olagoke Akinwemimo, welcomed all the youth leaders and appreciated them for the job well-done so far towards the development of the Party and their continuous support given to His Excellency, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s Administration in moving the State forward.
Also, the State Youth Leader who assured Mr Governor of their unflinching support to his second term ambition, pleaded to the congregation by giving him absolute support needed for the success of his tenure because in his words, “a tree can not make a forest”.
He used the medium to charge all positively towards the Party’s progress and proper mobilization of voters for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Contributing to the discussion, the State Deputy Party Chairman, Hon.Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, Assistant Secretary, Hon.Adeniran Waheed, APC State Auditor, Hon. Aliyu Akinloye, and APC State Welfare Officer, Princess Ayangbile Adeshola on behalf of the State Party Chairman, Prince Adegboyega Famodun praised the togetherness of the newly-elected youth leaders in Osun State APC and advised them to work hand-in-hand with the past excos of the Party in their various local governments to foster unity within the Party and the State at large and encouraged them to work perfectly for the re-election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola comes 2022.
Furthermore, the State Deputy Youth Leader, Mr Wasiu Ayinde, Osun West Senatorial Youth Leader, Mr Mojeed Imran Osama, Osun East Senatorial Youth Leader, Mr Olanireti Ogunsina Olope, Osun Central Senatorial Youth Leader, Mr Ibrahim Wasiu Iyanda together with all Local Youth Leaders in the meeting pledged their unalloyed readiness to work with the State Youth Leader for the unending progress of the Party and vowed to mobilize massively for the re-election of Mr Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola in the 2022 governorship election.
Also, Hon. Kolapo Olayanju Africa and Hon.Prince Adeniyi Olaniyan, the Caretaker Chairmen of Ejigbo West LCDA and Ifelodun North LCDA respectively praised the aura of progressivism of all the youth leaders in moving the Party forward through their incessant contributions. Also, Chairman Adeniyi Olaniyan of Ifelodun North LCDA presented some outdoor games materials to the Osun State Party Secretariat under the request of the State Youth Leadership of the party and was received by the APC Deputy State Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal Sooko and Director of Administration, Hon. Tajudeen Aremu and jubilant Staff of the Secretariat for the use of all and sundry for gaming and recreational purposes.
Ending the crucial meeting, Hon.Kehinde Ayantunji Alasalatu, Special Adviser on Student’s Affairs and Social Mobilization and Mr Joel Sayo, SSA on SUBEB thanked the congregation for standing firmly with the progressive Party for the betterment of the State of Osun cum success of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s Administration and the re-election bid of Mr Governor in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
The meeting was also supported by Hon.Morenikeji Ayobami, Special Assistant on Project Monitoring SUBEB and Hon.Badmus Opeyemi of BODI Initiative and BOYHS.
