Osun Speaker, Owoeye Felicitates Former Speaker Salam @ 56

The Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has congratulated the former Speaker of the Assembly, RT. Hon Najeem Salaam on his 56th birthday Anniversary.

The Speaker in statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Alabi felicitates the former Speaker who turned 56 years on Sunday the 8th of August.

Owoeye stressed that Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam deserves the prayer of all as he turns 56, saying his contribution to the state as the Speaker during the reign of Governor Rauf Aregbesola remains indelible.

He said, “The leadership that the previous administration provided with the massive delivery of people oriented programmes could not have been without the appropriate cooperation of the House under the former Speaker.

“I want to use this occasion to commend the Ejigbo born politician for ‎providing effective leadership for the then 5th and 6th House of Assembly when I was the Majority Leader, through passage of various bills and other oversight functions for the smooth and unhindered progress of the state.

“On behalf of my family, members of the 7th session of the state Assembly, we wish you a happy 56th birthday.

“We pray that Almighty God will grant you long life and the grace to continue to do that which will benefit Osun and country at large”.
