There was sporadic gunshots at the Imo State House of Assembly Complex
Although details of the gunfire are still sketchy, there are insinuations that it could be over the suspension of former House leader, Uche Ogbuagu and five other members.
DAILY POST reported earlier that the lawmakers were suspended for alleged unparliamentary conduct.
The removal was announced by the Speaker of the House, Paul Emeziem.
