Osun Works Commissioner, Omowaiye Eulogises Gov Oyetola Over Road Construction
Osun State Commissioner for Works and Transport Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye has lauded Governor of the State, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola for putting the safety of the citizens at heart.
The Commissioner gave the commendation against the backdrop of the directive given by the governor for the immediate patching of all pot holes on Gbongan/Ibadan road axis of the state capital,Osogbo.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Eng. Basiru Akande, the Commissioner said the directive given by the governor will enhance easy motoring along the identified axis when completed.
Engr.Omowaye who described Governor Oyetola as God sent to the people of the state, maintained the resolve of the governor to move the state to greater heights .
He stressed that the present administration is committed to the welfare of the people especially on issues that will make life comfortable for them.
“I want to assure you that this is a government that has the love and interest of the people at heart as it will continue to take steps that will make life comfortable for them.
“The patching of the potholes along this road is done because of the need to avoid road accidents and reduce the amount of time being spent by motorists on the road “. Engr. Omowaiye stated.
On the inspection team were: the Director Highway, Engr. Lawance Onilearo and Engr. Idowu Bello.
