Imbibe the Virtues of Christ, NBCYC President Enjoins Baptist Youths

The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, Pastor Enunuaye Onajite has enjoined youths especially of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC, to imbibe the virtues of Christ.

Onajite said this in his 2021 Youth Week  commemoration video broadcast to Baptist youths. The programme commence today, Sunday, June 6, 2021 and will end on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

The President added that as youths, they must be conscious of their immediate environment and contribute positively to the growth of the nation.

He said:

“As we celebrate this year’s Youth Week, I want to enjoin every youth of the Convention to imbibe virtues of Christ and make sacrifices where there is need.

“Be conscious of your immediate environment and allow Christ to use you to influence your environment positively”.

The theme for this year’s Youth Week is “The Crucified Life” with the text taken from Galatians 2:20. It is been celebrated across all the Conferences of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

He urged all youths to fully participate in the outlined activities for the week and allow the impact of the programmes to be evident in their lives.

Onajite prayed that many more years shall be witnessed and wished all youths a glorious Youth Week celebration.
