Updated: Akirun To Be Buried Today
The body of the late Akirun of Ikirun, Oba AbdulRauf Olawale Adedeji II would be buried today, Friday, 5th February.
The burial will be done according to Islamic rites by 4pm according to palace sources.
The sources hinted that there will be a prayer session for the late monarch at the palace before the burial.
Oba Olawale Adedeji joined his ancestors on Wednesday night at a private hospital in Osogbo, capital of the State of Osun after a brief illness.
His death threw the town into mourning as gates to the palace of the late traditional ruler was closed when OSUN DEFENDER visited on Thursday.
