2021: NACETEM DG, Prof Ukwuoma Charges Staff On Efficiency, Productivity

The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), Engr. Prof. Okechukwu Ukwuoma, has charged the agency’s staff to redouble their efforts for higher productivity in 2021.

Prof Ukwuoma gave the charge on Monday while speaking on expectations from NACETEM staff as they resumed from the new year holiday.

The NACETEM Boss who appreciated the workers for their contribution to the growth of the agency in year 2020 encouraged them to put the Agency first in their actions in 2021, saying they should embrace positive attitude to work.

“Let me take this time to appreciate you all for your contributions to the growth of the Agency in 2020. In spite of the attendant setbacks, challenges and hiccups of the year, you were dogged, dutiful and dedicated to the collective aspiration of the Agency.

“You demonstrated that ‘ team work makes the dream work’. You were simply exceptional in deeds and thoughts. Your dedication to work distinguished us and made us visible in the public space, with a lot of remarkable accomplishments nationally and internationally! I thank you all.

“It is a new year. It is a new beginning. A new year gives hope to mankind to re-invent and revamp whatever might not have worked out the way it was originally planned. It gives room to re-strategise and reset, if need be.

“For this reason, it is heralded with jubilation, celebration and ululation. In the spirit of celebration of better things to come, I welcome you all to 2021 and say ‘Happy New Year’ to all. It shall be a year of elevation and distinction for us as individuals and NACETEM as a corporate organisation!

“We have a lot on our hands this year. And this calls for more dedication. After all, the reward for hard work is more work. The good news however is that the Agency will ensure everyone is happy all through the year as we discharge our duties.

“Please note that we have raised the bar and we cannot afford to rest on our oars. It is time to roll up our sleeves, face the task ahead and prove to the world that we are unique by doing things differently. We have what it takes. All we need to do is give the Agency our ALL!
