Osun APC Crisis: Anybody Rubbishing Aregbesola In Osun APC Is Wicked, Selfish – Lasun Yusuf
Former Deputy Speaker of the House Of Representatives and Osun 2022 governorship aspirant, Rt Honorable Lasun Yusuf has said that anybody rubbishing the immediate past governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is wicked and selfish person.
Lasun made the statement while featuring on a news and current Affairs Programme “Frank Talk” on Rave FM, Osogbo on Friday.
Lasun exonerated Rauf Aregbesola of wrongdoings politically and admitted that everything happened because of the influence of Tinubu.
He said most of those parading themselves as leaders of the All Progressive Congress around the governor today don’t know what the party went through to reclaim the state from the Peoples Democratic Party.
He added that all those leading The Osun Progressives (TOP) in the APC are his friends and political associates.
The governorship aspirant disclosed that All Progressives Congress, APC, can not win the upcoming guber if members of the party continue to insult him.
Lasun Yusuf who contested in the Osun guber APC primary in 2018 reiterated that he was rigged out during the primary election of the party.
CityMirrorNews recalls that Honorable Lasun Yusuf picked up his 2022 governorship nomination form on Thursday in Abuja.
Speaking on his quest to succeed Governor Gboyega Oyetola in 2022, he said he decided to run for the office of the governor based agitation from his party members that they are keeping quiet with Osun APC.
“I told them as an individual I am not keeping quiet when the time is rip I will do the right it which is what I have done by picking the nomination form” he said.
The ex-deputy speaker also insisted that no body in the current Osun APC can be more progressive that him saying “Some of us established the modern day progressive party in Osun, we fought for it,used our blood and sweat to fight for it the journey has been very though and painful and so I can not run away at this point.
On his Governorship Ambition, Lasun said he has all what it takes to take the state to the promised land.
