Osun Traditional Rulers Appreciate President Buhari For Citing University In Ila Orangun

Traditional rulers in Osun State under the umbrella body of Osun State Council of Obas have lauded the vision and thinking of President Muhammadu Buhari for the presidential approval he granted that gave birth to the citing of the first ever University of Health, Nutrition and Medical Sciences in Ila Orangun, State of Osun.

The traditional rulers whose joy knew no limit expressed this appreciation during the Councils monthly meeting which held at the Finance Building, State Secretariat.

According to a statement by Ademola Lawal, an Information Officer, the monarchs described the gesture as not only timely and unprecedented but a reflection of the genuineness of President Muhammadu Buhari led administration to make Ila and the state of Osun one of the foremost citadels of learning in the entire Nigerian federation.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Council,Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja the second , the Ooni of Ife , the traditional rulers through the Orangun of Ila , Oba KAYODE Oyedotun,Bibire 1, viewed the citing of such a new University in Ila Orangun as a dream come true not only for the natives of the ancient community but the entire people of the state of Osun .

While further expressing the sense of gratitude and appreciation of all the traditional rulers , Oba Oyedotun remarked that President Buhari has written his name in gold with this development in such a manner that the present and future generations of the people of the state of Osun will continue to hold him and his administration in high esteem .

While congratulating the governor of the state of Osun,Mr Adegboyega Oyetola during whose administration many unprecedented achievements are being made in the state of Osun,the traditional rulers collectively vouched their love and support the more for Oyetola government,stressing that Osun has never had it so good and rewarding.

The Orangun Ila on behalf of all the traditional rulers in the state urged the governor not to look back in his avowed commitment and resolve to build legacies that will continue to endear him to the hearts of the people of the state of Osun who gave him their mandate to govern.

Describing education as a priceless legacy, the monarch also lauded the enormous contributions of the Asiwaju of Ila , Chief Bisi Akande and many other stakeholders who in one way or the other saw to the realization of University of Health, Nutrition and Medical Sciences established in Ila Orangun.

The Frontline monarch posited that the new University will not only put Ila Orangun on national and international limelights of education but will also add value to the lives of the Igbominas and the state of Osun at large.
