Baptist Youths Holds National Conference

Youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention under the aegis of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, will tomorrow, Tuesday begin their Annual National Conference.
The 49th Annual National Conference tagged “Lagos 2021” will hold at the Foursquare Gospel Church Campground, Ajebo, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State between Tuesday, August 3 and Saturday, August 7, 2021.
The 2021 Conference with the theme “Taking Over Territories” (Joshua 1:1-8) would have in attendance the recently sworn in President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC, Rev Dr Israel Akanji.
The Lead Speaker is Rev Jim Gotam. Also ministering are, Rev Dr Ijaola Adelokoji, Rev Dr Israel Kristilere, Director, Youth and Students Ministry, NBC, Rev Dr SAK Olaleye and Rev Mike Babatunde. Other speakers are the Youth Coordinator, NBC, Rev Joshua IbukunOluwa, Pastor Godspower Okitikpi, and the President, Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, Pastor Onajite Enunuaye among others.
The power packed event would witness Theme Interpretation, Bible Study, prayers, workshop on different thematic areas, sport competition, talent exhibition, press conference and song ministrations among others.
Speaking with our Correspondent, the NBCYC President, Pastor Onajite Enunuaye thank God for the grace for the resilient youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention to gather together again to observe the 49th Annual Conference.
He recalled that the 48th Conference held in 2020 was low-keyed because of the government restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. He however noted that the Conference delegates would observe all the COVID-19 protocols.
He added that delegates should prepare their minds for the great exploits that awaits them at this year’s Conference stressing that Baptist youths are taking over territories in all spheres of life.
While speaking, the Coordinator, Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, Rev Joshua IbukunOluwa said that the 2021 Annual Conference will not be a usual programme as lives would be transformed. He wished all delegates a safe journey assuring them that the Lord is waiting for them.
