Workers Day: Ondo-based Industrialist, Ajipe Advocates Better Welfare Packages For Civil Servants
As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate this year’s, 2021 Workers Day, Chief Alex Ajipe, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Klick Konnect Networks, has advocated better welfare packages for civil servants across the states.
According to him, every society must remember and appreciate its workers as they are the real heroes of the society, adding that Workers Day was about remembering and celebrating those who give their time, best efforts and work hard for the good of the society.
Ajipe, in a statement made available to journalists in Akure on Saturday by his Media Aide, Solomon Adewoye, however, described workers in Ondo state as chief development and growth partners that must be adequately compensated.
The Klick Konnect MD, who also urged the organised labour to continue to show understanding, while rightly insisting on the due and just entitlements of their members said “most of the challenges facing us today are largely man-made and therefore the solutions lie in our collective capacity and ability to chart a new path that will lead to higher productivity, wealth creation and job opportunities.
“I therefore identify with the entire work force in Ondo State and share with you the mission to sustain and increase our common wealth for the prosperity of all.”
