TIWA N’ TIWA L’OSUN Mourns G. O. Lawal, Describes Him As A Development-oriented Icon
Tiwa N’tiwa L’Osun, a grassroots socio-political and development organisation, has offered its deepest condolences to the Alhaji G. O. Lawal family, the Ikirun community, All Progressives Congress (APC) and the State Government of Osun on the death of their Patriarch, Alhaji Gbadamosi Owoseni Lawal.
In a press statement personally signed by the Founder and Chairman of the group and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Mr. Kunle Adegoke (SAN), the socio-political organisation grieved that “a good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. We have lost a great community leader, a good listener, a beloved and development-oriented icon.”
“We feel so honored to know and to have associated with Baba G. O. Lawal. He was a truly wonderful man who will live on in our memories forever. May Allah grant Baba aljanna firdaos” the group reminiscence and prayed.
Popularly called G. O. Lawal, the APC Chieftain died on Tuesday morning at Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
He was said to have been hospitalised for an undisclosed sickness.
He was 94 years old.
