New Year: Ayedire Council Chair, Oladejo Cautions Residents Against COVID-19
Amid the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the Executive Chairman, Ayedire Local Government area of Osun State, Otunba Adeboye Mukaila Oladejo has called on the residents of his council area to adapt with the safety rules and guidelines.
The Chairman made this call while speaking with journalists in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Tuesday.
Otunba Oladejo, who commended the Governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola for his efforts towards making life bearable for the people of the state and for creating a conducive environment since he assumed the office admonished residents of his council area to always wash their hands, making use of sanitizer and use the face mask.
According to Ayedire Council boss, “Prevention is better than cure, they say, that is why am calling the people in my local government area to always tidy their environment while they should comply with the Covid-19 protocols towards the betterment of all and sundry”.
Otunba Oladejo who enjoined his people to do all they can to stay alive amid the 2nd wave of coronavirus ravaging the world urged them to observe the safety protocols prescribed by the World Health Organisation as well as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC against Covid-19.
The Chairman who used the medium to congratulates the people saying ” as we are all going into the new year 2021 let us continue to demonstrate our unalloyed support to Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s led administration in the state while we should not relent in paying our taxes and other government levies as and when due towards the upliftment of the state”.
