COVID-19: Osun Chief Whip, Olatunji Sets Up Constituency Call Centre

In a bid to complement the efforts of Osun State Government to contain the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in the State, the Chief Whip of the State House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji has set up Constituency call centre for benefits of his Constituents.

He said, this became imperative so as to communicate any emergency that may arise during the period of statewide total lockdown.

CityMirrorNews reports that Olatunji, who is the Honourable representing Ife North State Constituency, had on Thursday distributed over 1000 bottle of hand sanitizers, nose masks and gloves to thousands of his constituents as part of his contribution to the wellbeing of his people.

This morning, the financial expert in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen announced that he has set up the call centre to complement Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC’s efforts

He said the the constituency call center will go live by 1pm today, Monday, 30th of March 2020 and take calls from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“It is a bilingual call center that will operate both in Yoruba and English languages.

“I have set up a constituency call center for the benefit of our people in Ife North to make enquiries and communicate any emergency need that may arise during the period of statewide total lockdown. This will complement our State Government and NCDC’s efforts.

“The COVID-19 pandemic precautionary measures and its statewide disruptions beyond the impact to public health are indeed tough but they are inevitable pains we must all bear in the overall interest of our survival.
