You’re A Tolerant Leader, Badmus Eulogizes Gov Oyetola At 66

Osun State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Olalekan Badmus, has written a letter to give adulations to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on his 66th birthday, as he described him as a tolerant leader.

He said the Governor made a number of people realised that the masses deserved nothing but truth, sincerity and openness at all time and not to be deceived or made to believe that those in government could never err.

This was contained in a letter, titled “Letter to My Principal @66” and addressed to Governor Oyetola on Tuesday by the Commissioner.

In part, the letter reads, “Mr. Governor, I am indeed certain that many delighting messages must have reached you by now sir but as my principal, leader, mentor and boss, I am morally bound to join millions of well wishers in celebrating with you on your 66th Birthday Anniversary, hence my few words about your person and the state under watch.

“First, I begin with an appraisal of your interesting personality. Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola is a financial maestro, gentle-natured, collected, highly cerebral, accommodating, tolerant, outstanding administrator and a great thinker, with a special ability of detecting problems and solving them with ease. Your compelling urge to be a harbinger of Industrial Revolution in the State of Osun culminated no doubt into the dawn of hope that beclouds our state.

“Through your administrative acumen sir, you have positioned our state at a vantage position and made her a bride for investors from all over. This came to being as a result of your legendary resolve to complement the security and improve existing peace through prompt response to disasters (natural and man-made).

“I must state at this very point that we must consider ourselves lucky to have leader like you at the helm of affairs in our dear state. More importantly, your role in ensuring a safe landing for the state when the entire world was in trepidation over a novel disease, which threatened human existence and left many countries crawling economically. We sailed through unscathed thanks to your leadership.

“As a leader, I have personally learnt a lot from you. You have shown many of us that governance is more beautiful when it is devoid of mesmerising deceit targeted at unaware masses in order to be seen as a martyr that never was. Mr. Governor, you made us realised that politics of mudslinging does not take one as farther as truthfulness and sincerity. This is one of the reasons I have considered myself really lucky to be working closely with you in delivering good governance to the people of the state. I thank you for this great honour sir.

“In concluding, I wish to establish in an unambiguous term that the path leading to your emergence as Executive Governor of State of Osun for second term in 2022 is already cleared of all manner of obstacles for your towering commitment to dishing out holistic policies and spirited service to the people of Osun is unequalled. I however pray that Almighty Allah to continue to protect and preserve Mr Governor. Happy Birthday and many happy returns sir!”
