Edo 2020: Woman Aspirant, Comrade Agol Picks NNPP Ticket

A woman aspirant, Comrade Ebunoluwa Agol has picked the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, governorship ticket in Edo State as the state brace up for the 2020 governorship election.
This was disclosed by Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, NNPP’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, in a statement made available to CityMirrorNews.
He noted that other aspirants in the primary election has promised to collapse their structures and support the winners candidacy.
The party congratulated Agol on her emergence and assured the good people of Edo State that liberation has come.
The statement reads:
“NNPP party’s Deputy After a free, fair and transparent governorship primary, Honourable Comrade Ebunoluwa Tracy Agol, has emerged the Governorship Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP). Other aspirants promised to collapse their structure into her campaign team and work with her to rescue Edo State in the interest of the party.
“It’s worthy to note that in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided not to organise elaborate primary. However the modus operandi still allows the wishes of the delegates to hold.
“On behalf of the National Leadership of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) we hereby present the next governor of Edo State who will surely be the first ever female governor in the history of Nigeria.
“Congratulations to Honourable Agol.
Congratulations to the entire family of NNPP.
“Congratulations to the good people of Edo State; Liberation has finally come your way by the help of God.
