Meet Onitsha DPO That Hoodlums Refused To Attack His Station During EndSARS Protest While Other Stations Burnt Down

On October 23, 2020 hoodlums and thugs invaded various police stations in Onitsha, Anambra State and burnt the stations down but on getting to Fegge Police station in Onitsha, all the police officers took to their heels but the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Rabiu Garba boldly came out to meet the hoodlums of which most of them quickly recognized him.

The chants of the angry thugs changed from “We no go agree oh we no go agree oh” to

“DPO Garba you are a good man, DPO Garba you’re a good policeman.”

They allowed him to address them and after which the hoodlums left.

Anaedoonline.ng learnt from different sources that the DPO has been friendly with the community and that he singlehandedly built a water borehole for the Fegge community. Other findings suggested that he always give ground for a fair hearing and never a bully to detainees.

He has since gone viral on different social media platforms as many people that had felt his goodwill are celebrating him.
