The Special Adviser to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Public Health, Dr Olasiji Olamiju, says a critical look at the past administrations of the State attests to the fact that Osun has indeed recorded tremendous achievements over the past 29 years.

The Public Health expert who made
the assertion while speaking with newsmen, saluted the past administrations for actualising the dreams of their forefathers.

Olamiju added that since the creation of the state in 1991 and having gone through both military and civilian regimes, it heartwarming that Osun can not be found wanting among it’s peers in the country.

The health practitioner while predicting a bright future for the state, emphasized that with a progressive minded party like the All Progressives Congress in the saddle of leadership, the sky is definitely the limit for the state.

He said, “On a larger note, Osun has been on a steady rise in the ladder of growth and development especially in the past ten years, the state has witnessed unprecedented development in sectors such as education, infrastructure, health, commerce and others, the past and present administrations of the state has really done well.”

“It is however worthy of note that in barely two years, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is already rewriting history, he is bringing governance and its dividends to the doorsteps of Osun people – this government has renovated, rehabilitated and revitalized about 300 Primary Health centres across the political wards of the state.

“The general hospitals and comprehensive health centres are also having good touches of the government in terms of infrastructure and equipping them to function. All these has not stopped other developmental projects across sectors.

“I thank the people of the state for their resilience, patience, cooperation and support to all administrations that had governed the state in the last 29 years, especially this current Oyetola-led administration and I urge them to continue in that manner so that together we can take the state to the heights we are all envisaging.”

Congratulations to the State of Osun”. The Esa-Oke born politician concluded.
