“I implore you to fast according to your strength as a person and back it up with the request of all you need in prayers and leave God to do the rest.

“During the just concluded seclusion exercise, I had the privilege of seeing the world beyond and I can assure you that the good God is ever ready and willing to help only if we ask.” Ooni who is the spiritual head of the Yoruba race admonished.

On the ongoing Olojo festival, the Ooni urged participants to celebrate with caution and be mindful of the fact that COVID-19 has not been completely defeated.

“Let’s not forget that we’re in the phase of defeating COVID-19 and that is why we must not loose guards, let’s wear our face masks and observe personal hygiene and it shall be well with us.” The Ooni added.

The event was attended by top dignitaries including traditional rulers, nollywood actors/actresses, politicians and top Ife indigenes including Sir Alex Duduyemi among others.
