A teenage girl on Sunday held the congregation spell bound at the Glory Centre Annex of the Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT)when She recounted her miraculous escape from kidnappers den somewhere in Ijebu area of Ogun State.

Esther (surname withheld) declared that her escape was an act of God not her smartness because She was the only one who escaped out of the three kidnapped at Mokola area of Ibadan the Oyo state capital.

The kidnapped victim told CityMirrorNews Correspondent that She boarded a Micra taxi cab going to Challenge area of Ibadan to see her friend in connection with a coming JAMB examination.

“Shortly while I entered the taxi cab with two other passengers ,the three of us became unconscious and slept of at around Ekotedo. The next place I woke up was in a solitary house in a big forest.

” It was then I knew that I was in for trouble. We were brought down from the Micrs taxi cab and sat together in the house located in a forest. Those who brought us asked us to be patient and left. The other two people have not regained their consciousness whenI jumped into the bush before our hosts came back. The driver might have brought us for sale to the prospective buyers.

“I just courageously jumped into the bush and decided to be running to anywhere for safety.I trekked for many hours in the bush. Later I joined a tarred road which I did not know.A motor cycle passing bye came and I waived an elderly man who picked me.

” The cyclist picked me and told me that I was in Ijebu area but I have forgotten which part of Ijebu he picked me.He did not take money from me when He dropped me at Alomaja area.It was there my Daddy’s call entered and I told him where I was,Esther explained

She further said that her father drove down very early in the morning to pick her adding “I thank the most high God for preserving my life as I cannot say what would have become of me”.

The kidnap victim stated that She did not have any premonition of what would happen to her that day as her intention was to discuss past questions with her friends in preparation for the coming examination.

It was learnt that the incident was not reported at any police station.

Members of the congregation had earlier praised God with the lucky mother of Ester during a brief testimony time while the Church Assembly Pastor, Elvis Ekogwe prayed with the family.

Meanwhile, members of the public are taking extra safety measure as allegations of Micra taxi operators being used for crime are rife in Ibadan, the state capital.
