Ramadan: Osun PS SUBEB Rejoices With Muslims, Enjoins Them To Pray God’s Intervention On Covid-19

A front line community leader and Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB), Osun State, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has congratulated Muslim faithful on the commencement of the year’s Ramadan fasting.

In a press statement made available to newsmen this evening in his country home, Modakeke, the topnotch educationist described Ramadan as a rare month which Muslims all over the world are always looking forward to because of abundant blessings deposited in the holy month by Almighty Allah.

Kolawole noted that Ramadan also offers Islamic adherents chance to be closer to Allah and to perfect their deeds before the Almighty Allah.

The SUBEB boss said, this year’s Ramadan is a very special and challenging one as a result of the global pandemic ravaging the whole world but noted that this trying time has its lessons such as sacrifice, love for one’s neighbours, self- restrain and perseverance which were few of the significance of the holy month.

He, however, urged Muslims to use this period to pray to Allah for His divine intervention in order to put an end to coronavirus outbreak which has practically brought the world on its knees.

In his words, Kolawole said, “I enjoin all Muslims faithful all over the world to use this blessed month to seek Allah’s intervention to bring an end to this pandemic and cleanse the earth for mankind”

“I pray that Allah shall accept all our supplications and Ibadah in this glorious month” (Ameen), the statement concluded.
